Library needs assessment and site selection process update

Appleton, WI (March 17, 2014) – Tomorrow afternoon during the Appleton Public Library Board of Trustees March Board Meeting, representatives from Engberg Anderson (EA) will present an update of the ongoing library needs assessment and site selection process.

During this informational presentation, EA will deliver a snapshot of the process and present all the data to this point including; presenting a summary of the building program and current building engineering study, as well as presenting the four sites that will be evaluated in more detail. The board meeting is scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm and will be located in the Appleton Public Library’s Meeting Room C.

Thursday, March 27 | 4:30-6:30 pm - Public Open House with EA
This public open house is an invitation to the community to drop in and ask questions and provide input about the process. Representatives from Engberg Anderson will be on-hand to answer questions. The open house will be located on the first level in the Appleton Public Library’s Children’s Program Rooms.

Tuesday, April 15 | 4:30 pm – Full Board Meeting with decision for a final site
During this board meeting, the Appleton Public Library Board of Trustees will vote on a recommendation for a new or remodeled facility based on the preliminary planning assessment completed by Engberg Anderson (action item).
